My recommended is decent but every now and then it’ll try to throw some weird shit in there. Loves recommending me off-shoot Fox channels because I have the main one blocked. Seems like every few months it pops up. But yeah, I get a lot of MTB, Motocross, and OSRS stuff cause it’s what I tend to watch. Some random car YouTubers (Rob Dahm ILY) and random video essays about interesting stuff.
How would you have a multiplayer online game without forced online play? It’s a requirement of multiplayer (I guess barring LAN, but what is the likelihood of anything being “massive” multiplayer while on LAN) and online. That’s like 2/3 of the name
I mean, I guess it depends. I row often, and I don’t wanna do it in a gym, so I purchased a rower. But if I didn’t want to spend the ~$800 on a nice Concept 2 rower, a gym membership for $20/mo would give me about about 3.25 years of rowing before I hit the cost of the rower. Then I also get access to every other machine they offer, free weights, other amenities such as pool and basketball court, classes they offer, trainer access (probably not great but better than winging it). That may be valuable to you or it may not, but it’s an option. You could run on a treadmill or lift weights at home, if you purchased the items. Sure, running outside is free and you can pick up/put down stuff whenever, but weather gets in the way, and unbalanced or unwieldy weight isn’t always safe.
Home workouts can be effective and many make it work, but some people like/need the separation. Sometimes when I get home, if I sit down, I’m just not gonna get up and workout at that point. Stopping at a gym in the way home gives a clear delineation between still working physically and being done with your days work when you get home. Or if they go in the morning, I can’t row at odd hours I may want to because of neighbors (it’s not quiet). I can go to some gyms at 5am or 2am if I really wanted to, where I couldn’t currently at home.
I made it maybe 20 min before I un-installed. I don’t vibe with Fallout in general (but I’ll suffer through them) and with the writing style, just wasn’t my thing. Maybe the 2nd one is a bit more polished and I can get into it cause I heard good things.
I don’t think it was confirmed until they were starting to get liberated, was it? Like it was probably predicted they were there, but that’s a pretty tough allegation to put out there and then be wrong on, victors or not.
You’re free to make your own instance if you disagree with bans or moderation, and others are free to defederate from you if they don’t wanna see it. What exactly is the issue, that you don’t get a captive audience?
It helps that it’s trending towards being a pre-built PC more and more, and I do think that will help in some regard. If the PC and Xbox versions are able to be the same, then dev costs go down, and you get a pretty solid idea of what a good lower-to-mid tier spec PC can do and optimize for that. It also would hopefully mean that more and more catalog becomes playable on PC, but who knows how far back that would go. Maybe Microsoft would make an emulator that you log-in to for access to 360-onward games? May be extreme wishful thinking there tho lol
It’s a scam. I saw something on…Bluesky? Or somewhere about a political party where people can donate. It’s mission was “Cooperation” or some shit, it didn’t have any info about candidates, positions on policy, or any of that. It was just vague buzzwords. And merch, they had merch. For a Political Party with no listed representatives.
I type with my keyboard in my lap; for whatever reason, I’m not usually doing mouse and KB at the same time. I used numpad cause I worked retail through college, and if I’m hitting anymore than 5 numbers, I’m using numpad. But I also don’t care about the esthetics while at work. Same with my desk at home, tho it is set up more to my preference. I just don’t care about the KB being centered with the mouse. I think I like the unbalanced look better, it gives each piece it’s own weight.
That, and the damn keyboards cost $140 anymore. If. the paying that much, I want the option of a numpad lol. Plus I think they look dumb without the extra keys, if that makes sense?
YUNZII Typewriter Keyboard
Outemu Silent Peach Switches v2 (v3 is available, idk the difference)
Keycaps I got are sold out, but it’s just generic ones with no branding or design, just black and tan.
Yunzii is a brand I’ve seen in other sites outside Temu, so I was decently confident in it being alright. I wanted quiet switches because I work in an office (obviously lol) and I didn’t want to make extra noise. These are very quiet switches, barely louder than the AC air blowing. Keyboard itself is decent enough for just a cheap chassis, but I also like the 108 keyboards and not the small ones (daddy needs his numpad).
Whew. I’ll look and see, gimme a bit
I got a keyboard, keycaps, and some switches for a work keyboard. I wanted something cheap cause it is just supposed to get me off a shitty ergo one they provide. Spent maybe $40 and it’s pretty decent. I got quiet switches, connectibility is good. No complaints. But I got it solely for this purpose, I haven’t been back on it again, and I researched what I was wanting to get, so nothing was surprising.
It worked well for it’s intended purpose, but they bombard you with sales and stuff to get you to spend more. It’s definitely a trap system
Unlikely to care, realistically. I play multiplayer games with friends; I cannot think of the last time I wanted to play Gears of War 2, or Forza Motorsport 3, or any number of other games I’ve played with friends in the past that I own copies of.
I get the sentiment behind this, and I do think there should be a backend set up for private lobbies through P2P connection for when the inevitable occurs. But on the scale of things I’m worried about daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly, this doesn’t register at all.
There were three characters. Ed, Edd, and Eddy in the show. Edd (Double D) was the smart one, Ed was the comedic dumb character. Never heard him called Single-D before, but it’s a funny way to call someone’s behavior stupid or I guess simple lol
Single-D behaviors is a term I am absolutely stealing
I think he’d prefer you to make assumptions.
A new take on Wurm Online
Yeah performance is my absolute biggest issue rn. I’m getting like…70-80fps on med on a 2080ti. Other than that, I’m very happy with it, although I’m only about 4 hours in
That’s about what I do. Jump on for a few rounds every few weeks just to do it, but the gameplay loop doesn’t keep me long term. I just don’t care to level/unlock stuff like that anymore really, not without a greater purpose. But it’s fun when I play, and I’ll absolutely help some Xbox homies kill some bots.
