I think it’s very much dependent on your hardware.

I had some issues with my Nvidia drivers getting messed up when the card was relatively new. I haven’t had any issues in the past two years though.

In my case it’s mostly that browsers and as such also electron Apps unfocus textboxes when the window is unfocused for seemingly no reason, sometimes without giving visual indication meaning that I need to reselect it to copy it.

I was hoping that was going to be a princess bride reference. I am disappointed.

I do also think that exams are often a pretty bad way of checking how well a concept is understood and grades often show how well certain things are memorized instead.

I should probably do some more research before I say anything more about this though as that impression is mostly anecdotal.

I never cared enough to inform myself about but I thought they were just overpriced. Good to know that it’s worse than I thought.

That used to be what letters were expected to have in Germany but because nobody actually stuck to that law they made it optional, instead also allowing the much more common dd.mm.yyyy which is almost as acceptable in my opinion.

How does one come about disliking vim but still finding helix attractive? It is rather similar as far inputs go.

I mean it can be dysphoric for some but I assume that is not the reason this person needed a distraction.

I’ve only really seen brown packing tape I’m guessing yours is transparent though? Other than the things that require transparency I do think duct tape beats it most of the time.

But duct tape is quite thick such that you can feel the edge then you just need to successfully pull it up without ripping it.

Do you have dotfiles available somewhere? I do quite like the window decorations and the rest of what I assume to be of the gtk theme.

I saw it in the wild at a university computer lab once.
