2·1 year agoJohn Coltrane’s versions of Afro Blue. Very different from Mongo Santamaría’s original. I like both approaches, but Coltrane’s recordings of it were all just so powerful.

There are some other instruments in that video besides the singing bowls. I’ve seen some interesting large triangle things at a soundbath before as well.
