But of course when corporations infringe on copyright it’s fine right it’s not theft at all.

I mean good to have collaboration but honestly only seeing ASUS as a large, mainstream hardware company on there does say a lot about how the industry still views Linux as not worth supporting and that hardware support is key for getting Linux adoption for everyday use going.
Still very good to see traction.

You know what, I honestly hate this argument.
The normal user that has a job, a life, a world outside of social media isn’t going to be going to monitor and go to all the disparate original sources to find this information. The journalists who are paid to go to all of these original sources, aggregate, add their thoughts if they have it, and let their audience know about all the news. They deserve to be paid by their job to aggregate and inform with some clicks and some ad revenue.
Otherwise, how about you go and trawl the internet for all gaming news all day every day and do it for free for the rest of us instead of complaining. But we all know none of you complainers do, you go to the same gaming sites OP does, reads the same articles, and then just complain about how unoriginal everyone else is.

Yup. That really cements further that I will not buy Nvidia again.
Honestly, to this guy, why bother staying in the States?
As much as I absolutely hate China, at least there they respect science and research and are actually and actively recruiting foreigners and poaching immigrant Americans. Also European countries are recruiting too.
As an American, escape while you can.

As this asshole and his asshole company tries to force adoption via shoving it down Windows 11 users without consent.
Reminder that now is a great time to switch to Linux desktop.

GPU drivers, at least on AMD’s side, have been solid and Nvidia has been generally decent and getting a lot better with the new process they’re doing for the newer cards. But my scenario might be more unique to the MB implementation of the wifi chipset since when I posted on other boards, others with different MB’s/cards using the same driver aren’t seeing the same issues.
And of course the other downside is that the wifi 7 driver for that chip is not available for windows 10 and is windows 11 only and I do not want to use that as my daily even if the driver is solid and honestly I’m not a huge perpetual online gamer so it’s not impacting my ability to use and enjoy my Bazzite instance.

Oh for fucks sake, so much neckbeard energy here dismissing this guys personal experience.
When you’re a new user and don’t know what the hell the native app store application is, which doesn’t have all the programs a person would want to use and install there, and when a new user goes to find their old windows apps that have Linux install instructions, what’s the first thing that they have there? Guess. It’s always find your flavor of Linux and the first steps shown are always terminal commands with sudo apt get or sudo dnf.
That’s everyone first time with Linux until they learn more about it so get off your high horse and condescending gatekeeping attitude.

So I’ve gone back to linux for my daily but holy hell the driver support is very much still not there, especially for gaming.
The wifi driver is flakey and drops connection requiring a disable/re-enable every so often, power management doesn’t work quite right with sleep mode locking up the system every so often, keyboard no use of most of the advanced features, same for the mouse and never mind about the other various nits that I end up finding that honestly don’t have much info because there’s no official driver support from the companies, just mostly wonderful people who are making things work but don’t have that industrial knowledge and limited time.
Still, absolutely no regrets in moving back to Linux because Windows has been just horrible since 7 and 11, which I still have to use at work, is just absolute crap.

James would probably come in with Panda Linux, especially if he’s in Bolivia.

So what distro would James May be bringing up the rear and is total rubbish?

Camera’s can be easily confiscated and broken by fascists.
Instant uploads are much harder to suppress.

Cripes all of that and not even, “Buy a burner SIM card”, “Use a VPN at all time if you have to use data”, “For the love of god don’t use biometrics as authorization, use a alphanumeric password to unlock”, “Use the damn encryption solution provided by your phone’s OS”.

I will say that the 10.11 update for me was a freaking nightmare with so different types of failures.
I’m still waiting the ability to remove seasons without deleting the media, especially since I now have ton’s of duplicate season_xxxx seasons from the major version update, mucking up most of my seasons that I didn’t have before.
Oh and chromecasting on the app is still a giant mess.
Still great to hear they’re making progress.

Very cool. I am still running Bazzite as my reintroduction into Linux as a daily and it’s been great for gaming but I will say that as more and more familiarity rolls in, I do get frustrated with it being an immutable distro and having to jump through hoops to get it do what I want.
Still I think it’s a great distro for those who don’t want to deal with MS bullshit anymore and a great friendly, works right out of the box while you learn or relearn Linux, and gets you gaming without a lot of hassle and having to deal with less than friendly Linux users.

Come on, we all know it will still be the poor and middle class.

I simply do not like doing hard scraping with a metal spatula and the potential to gouge the seasoning.

I personally cook with a mix of stainless, high carbon, and cast iron and have moved on from gas to induction, with loving my induction and steel pan combo.
I don’t care for non-stick due to its short lifespan, not great a searing, and having to replace them every couple of years creating waste and chemicals.
I’ve found that cast iron with a properly done seasoning and just a little bit of oil, which come on almost no one is cooking without a little bit of oil, I’ve got a perfectly great non-stick surface that can do eggs, including omurice, and salmon without anything sticking and cleanup is fine, if I get some stuck bits, just take a plastic scraper and then just clean as normal with or without soap depending (yeah, keep it to yourself purists)
My two cents

To that I say, why in the hell would you buy a smart fridge in the first place? That’s on you for buying something that stupid.
If your talking about gamers, let’s be real here. They’ll lap up whatever scraps and bullshit Nvidia will give them and then thank Nvidia for gouging them.
I mean look at the recent stream surveys.
