Sorry, your parents lived reality is nothing compared to the cronically online tanky imagination.

A Ukrainian student told me this week about how their parents left Ukraine because of the war. They also explained that their family speaks Russian at home because their mother wasn’t allowed to speak Ukranian.

I told them they’re a very obvious psyop planted by the American media conglomerate. Russia has never oppressed a population and the only war is a hunt for the dangerous nazis of the Ukraine.

/s because you never fucking know anymore.

Most of one side of my family is all from Poland/Ukraine…they still will bring up stories about how bad it was. The fact that western kids want that back is just hilarious. They have no concept of how shit it was.

Im from lithuania, and have family from ukraine and other post soviet countries, every teacher, parent, uncle etc. I ever had has talked about how life back then was, I even knew some older people who experienced life in the gulags

The fact people think life in the USSR was better than the US or whatever western country they want to go against that day is wild to me

Yep, it’s not like people who lived through that shit aren’t alive. So I have no clue how tankie shits like cowbee and desilines (sp?) can be so brainwashed to think the west is worse living conditions than the ussr.
