There are many theories as to who he was and what happened to him, but there’s no evidence for any of them. Curiously, the CCP say that they don’t have any records of the man, but it was also before the digital surveillance state that China is today. I think it’s fair to say that he was arrested, I mean, he interfered with the Chinese military after they slaughtered students. They’re not going to let him walk free.

Nah, there’s no evidence he was murdered. There’s very little evidence about Tank Man’s identity or what happened to him.
