Would be cool if you dropped a line or two to tell us what we are looking at.
3d-printed headphones (the kit is €110)
I want this product (not the 3d printed parts) with a bluetooth connection to build into my retired flight helmet (I have flown in military helicopters most of my career, but am old and grounded now).
This looks cool idk how I wonder if the split / extra cable connected to headset would be less comfortable than the the wire running through the headband.
Really cool concept, I’d love to make a pair if they had planar magnetic drivers
Yes, it would be cool! They do have a kickstarter for a pro version with glass drivers. https://headamame.com/pages/headamame-pro-prelaunch
Unfortunately no kit version yet.
Oh that’s cool, post some updates when you get them too! Let us know how you’re liking them and everything
I don’t have the new pro model with the glass drivers, just the original kit with the reference drivers and they sound great! Comfort is way better than I expected as well and they’re surprisingly well adjustable. Quite a bit punchier bass than I expected, and pretty great mids. I’d compare them to a more balanced AT-M50, with a better sound stage and a bit more pronounced lows. I’m no headphone reviewer though, so feel free to listen to someone else online talk about the full technical details.
I do sometimes run into an issue where one driver loses volume and needs to be unplugged/replugged which involves dismantling the ear piece, but aside from that they’re a great pair of work headphones.
