At this point, as a tech industry insider, you don’t partner with the likes of Thiel or Karp without fully understanding who you’re getting into bed with, or why.
Yeah, they are only cutting ties due to the attention. They’ll replace it with something just as bad, or worse.
Yeah, they’re doing the right thing here as a PR move, they may have known about the shady bullshit or they might not have but if they didn’t I bet they didn’t even ask or care in any way.
