Decided to pick up Requiem after seeing all of the praise, and the game is gorgeous. Won’t make a judgement on story yet, but the game itself looks so nice.
Just wishful thinking but I’d love the ReREmake to allow for either a choice between the modern first person style or the older control schemes and not even bother with the third person aiming.
Disappointed RE1 is getting a remake to turn it into yet another Modern Action Shooter Slop game instead of keeping it Survival Horror.
RE1 was already remade, and it was literally the perfect remake too.
That was actually my entry point into the series! Can’t imagine how I would feel replaying it with all the new shooter mechanics and inventory being redone

No, I don’t think anybody is asking for yet another RE1 remake. Because then that’ll just start everything alllll over again. Next 10+ years, RE2 will have a remake. Then RE3. Then another 20 years until we get RE4 remade.
Like, no. I prefer the series continuing forward with newer entries than just revisiting things, especially if they’ve been remade twice over.
I’d go for another re3 remake if they actually do it right next time.

Man, I thought the Resident Evil 2 remake was incredible. I’d love to see that treatment for the OG.
