On Windows it’s quite but on linux it’s wierd. seems like when someone changes volume and you get crackles, hiss, pops.

    Yes that’s a pulseaudio issue. If you search pulse audio crackle you should find some tips. Something to do with some settings on delay I believe.

    Also want to mention that for me, it was a USB port issue.

    If this happens primarily in games, try passing PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC=50 via your launcher and play with the number. I use like, 400?

    Which distro are you using? Did this happen after an update? What audio output device are you using and how is it connected? Run pactl info to see if you’re using pulseaudio or pipewire. If you’re using pipewire you should see this line Server Name: PulseAudio (on PipeWire 1.4.10)

    When is this issue happening? Sometimes audio crackles when the cpu us under heavy load
