While the scope of layoffs has stunned employees, industry analysts have told IGN that cost-reduction within Epic Games was inevitable amid growing external pressures and costly industry battles.

We need to go back to the days where video games come to an end. All this live service forever game bullshit is a cancer for the industry, and just incentivizes overt monetization

He’s addicted to fortnight and is trying to argue there’s plenty of other games, he’s even played some. Unfortunately too much fortnight has left him unable to form proper thoughts and structure sentences.

Listen guys fortnight may be fun but we’ve hit the point in capitalism where we all need to hold hands and shit on publishers who are making these cash grab games. They all need to fail so there’s less big money in the industry and we stop seeing them do this layoff shit and good devs can get back to making games instead of making Darth Vader dance with OJ Simpson.
