I can live with most of the other stuff, since the quality is good and they are hassle-free devices with Unix-like conventions, they last long, feel fantastic to use; Despite the price, despite the ring-kissing of Trump, despite being a mega corporate spreading its capitalistic cancer across the globe… all because the alternatives have been even worse.

Union busting is where I draw the line though, no matter if it’s in the sale or manufacturing or design side or whatever. This is the first one I hear about, I’ve not been aware of any earlier instances, mostly because I don’t follow stuff so tightly, I am almost certain it has happened before, but now that I have it in front of my eyes I can no longer abide it in my blissful ignorance.

This marks the day they lost me as a long-term customer. Perhaps ought to have happened earlier, but for me, it happened today.

I encourage others to consider the same.

Not really sure what I’ll do after these current devices die on me, but now it’s clear to me it can’t be apple. Google’s been dead to me a long time, same for Sony, Samsung, most other big players.

I guess we’ll see what the landscape is like in 5 years.

Fuck this. Fuck apple. Fuck me.

And that’s why companies should have a limit to growth. They become authoritan countries at some point.

following the starbucks method, ive seen a couple SB around me suddenly closed overnight, in a high traffic area(conference events every week), they likely smelled a potential union talks going on in some of the shops. the ones in target are not likely affected by it.

I actualy like coffee and small coffee shops…The shop I like…in which I can’t walk to anymore because I moved, I still order from them because they roast their own beans…bunch of ethopians who have ties to home… Yet I am also trash so it is instant for me. I wouldn’t be caught dead in a SB on my own accord.

I think the last apple product I bought was a 2008 imac that I turned into my first server and a iphone 6 which apple decided for me that I was no longer going to use it after they did a remote brick. For my safety of cource thank gawd. I will never buy a (hold your tounge and say ---->)apple—>) product EVER again and F_or U_nlawful C_arnal K_nowledge Samsung_dung_Ok_I_amDone.

I am implying that apple amoung many prodict manufatures have pushed away and created grudges of the very people that buy them. I am combating over zealous mods and the corpos by sprickling in some human mahjahdick by sharing my two cents. Same ol story bro. The problem is people take themselves too seriously. The human perspective is the most important, the artical… I could of found else where… in which I do. What do you got to say snark?

I basically use macOS like Linux. I don’t use a single default app or Apple service (apart from Photos but I want to switch to Immich eventually) and over the years I’ve customised it so much that most people are confused when they try to use my computer lol

I run a dusty satalite tosheeebahhh 3 core like 4gbs of ram from 2008 as a DVR for 9 camers. Linux is awsome and has changed my mind about computing. I also would like to see what up with BSD. I need an old dusty rig to try that out. Eventually

Those days will come to a end eventually… Apple is a walled garden… their hardware is for their dragnet. All these companies will lock it down eventually… like they did to my old iphone.

“For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge” wasn’t a crime. They wouldn’t start the name of a crime with “for”. You’d have stuff like “for murder”.
