Switched from a Conbee 2 with Phoscon, to a Sonoff Dongle Max and ZHA. Bit of pain remaking the network but now everything works as before or better. Aside from the showstopper that’s the buttons NOT having anything useful! What’s the point of a button that has to drop the battery past a certain point to trigger anything? That can’t be right. Help please? :(
Edit: solved! Thanks to the helpful comments, I found out my SNZB-01P has a blueprint. Didn’t know how to use them but wasn’t hard so I’m back to fully operational :D
You need to trigger on zha_event and then parse the json, it’s not very straightforward last I checked but doable. Or, look for a blueprint that supports your button.
Thanks! As luck has it, I seemingly bought stuff that does have a blueprint. Now to see how it works…
Try Switch Manager on HACS. Makes it very easy to configure Zigbee switches.
Seems interesting and I’m thankful for the help, but as it turns out there’s a blueprint (supposing it works).
