For those who don’t know already, Hacksmith Industries made their own multitool. A very lightweight titanium Canadian made multitool featuring an m390 blade and several other features.

    Initially, I almost bought it but at the end of the video with Adam Savage, he teased a concept of the Smith Blade XL featuring pliers and scissors and I thought I would wait.

    What’s funny is that a month ago, I was about to buy the open source and modular Roxon Flex multitool but didn’t have money at the time. I’m glad I didn’t make an impulse decision.

          Interesting. I looked around and saw some folks describing it that way but couldn’t find the company itself ever calling it open source

          Its a cool looking modular too though!

            Their amazon listing, knife center listing, and some forums mention it as open source. A few of the videos I watch mention it as open source as well, but it’s odd they don’t list that on their actual website

              It took me a while to find the listing that includes open source, only the flex has it as best I’ve seen. Weird. Cool tool regardless though.
