She’s been lauded as some kind of martyr by the right, who compare every other sentence to hers.
She’s a piece of shit, as evidenced by her acting like a piece of shit.
Yeah, people trying to downplay it are as “just a tweet” are also pieces of shit. The way she said it is irrelevant.
What is relevant is that as she was calling for hotels full of people to set on fire, there were people trying to set hotels on fire.
She called for people to be murdered, then others attempted it, she got off lightly.
I hope her death is slow, agonizing, and humiliating.

That’s some revisionism there… You know that the British had a bunch of Germans as well right? 30,000 German/Hessian mercenaries (nearly half their forces). In July last year, prompted by a false rumour that an illegal immigrant was responsible for the murder of three girls at a dance workshop in Southport, Connolly posted online calling for “mass deportation now”, adding “set fire to all the… hotels [housing asylum seekers]… for all I care”.
Connolly, then a 41-year-old Northampton childminder, added: “If that makes me racist, so be it.”
EDIT 2 - in fact, her exact words were this:
“Mass deportation now, set fire to all the fucking hotels full of the bastards for all I care … if that makes me racist so be it.”
At the time she had about 9,000 followers on X. Her message was reposted 940 times and viewed 310,000 times, before she deleted it three and a half hours later.
In October she was jailed after admitting inciting racial hatred.

I get that you’re angry you can’t get a job after three years at uni and 50k in debt.

I get that having children will be an unplanned, largely unfunded activity for you.
I’m get that being a twenty something influencer has cred, but as your retirement age goes up and up faster than your chronological age and the state keeps raiding your personal pension that you’re forced to keep funding, spare a thought for the other influencers of 55 years that you’ll become and those diminishing returns.
