I get what you’re saying. I don’t really think we should call authoritarianism an illness, but what should we use when an extremist, like an antivaxxer, flat-earther or someone else actively denies reality?

And I don’t think mental illness is valued, and I think it is something that diminishes a person. It’s why we call it an illness.

I mean, you can use any other insult, there are plenty to choose from. You can call them vile, ignorant, close-minded, delusional.

It diminishes a person in the sense that it diminishes a person’s abilities. Not a person as a whole because people with mental illnesses are worth as much as any other person.

Ah okay, so you’re upset about the distinction between those with mental illness and those without?

I thought you were defending mental illness itself as something that should be encouraged or whatever

Apart from you argueing in favor of ableism, which in and of itself is disgusting, the whole deleted comment is: „maybe that could be a way to justify the killing of what I define as authoritarian people“ and by authoritarian they mean extreme left, which they don‘t even understand. They‘re fascist, just like your community defending that take, cheering it on.

What‘s your defense, fascist? What‘s your opinion on that take, goat? or cm0002? let‘s hear it.

I’m not arguing in favour of ableism, just asking what it means in this context because ableism is something that’s regularly up to interpretation, and it’s important we come to the same conclusions on what is ableist or not. I’m disabled and I’ve regularly been a victim of ableism and the many forms it takes, hence my asking.

Also thats not the whole deleted comment? I’m not sure where you’re getting that quote from.

And how’s this community or myself a fascist?
