Not really a “meme” but flerfs are a meme. Its a well put video that I am not sure where else to share and feel this community (which is active) will like it.

Let’s make a megathread on this:

    1. What’s on the other side?
    2. How do you explain timezones?
    3. How do you explain the orbits of other planets?
    4. How do you explain the pendulum shift?
    5. Why do ships disappear bottom first?
    6. Why can’t I see farther from a mountain top?
    7. Why is line of sight broken, if I build a tower on 2 mountains that are about 60km apart?

Add your questions as replies! :)

      1. The other side used to be gold. After the gold rush, we found oil.

      2. It’s the big light drape that’s part of the celestial mobile.

      3. Good job noticing how the celestial mobile/calendar moves to inform us if the coming seasons.

      4. You didn’t let it go perfectly. There’s no such thing as perfect. Except the flatness of our cosmic plane of existence.

      5. The sea is deeper further out. It’s bottom first because it’s heavier at the bottom. Do I have to keep explaining this every time? I can’t even

      6. 60km is really far away. No one can see that far. I can’t even read past 3 meters. You’re higher than an orbiting satellite if you think you can see 60km away.

      7. See 6.

Question for you: what shape do you think our flat earth is?

      • How do you explain gravity?
      • How do you explain the path of a flight from LA to Seoul?

And the big one that tends to get forgotten:

      • How do sunsets work?
