I come from Germany, and at my school, we had English and Turkish. Since you’re about to start learning German, I’ll give you a little heads-up. Watch out for: „der, die, das"! 😂😂😂 Even real Germans sometimes struggle with getting it right!

The USA has just on article „THE" but Germany has three. The positiv thing : Many words in German sound exactly the same like “Hello = Hallo” so that makes things a bit easier.

Google and Reddit actually have a deal that lets Google train its AI on user posts. It’s wild that Reddit would allow that. I deleted my account immediately. But, im really happy to find a plattform like lemmy.

For me, data privacy is just about being practical and ethical. I hate it when big corps like Google use my data for things I can’t control, like military projects. It makes me angry, when they turn a tiny mosquito into a weapon. I see that happening with AI too. I’m against that.
