Something about it does seem a little off, like they missed a line when they traced the hand so it looks like his finger is broken, but I don’t think it was AI…?

I’ve been poor and I’ve been wealthy and none of it makes the man. I’ve certainly seen wealthy people do things that I would never do and I’ve seen poor people do things that I would never do, but as an individual I always try to do what makes the most sense in terms of effectiveness and morality rather than what’s the most convenient or beneficial for me as an individual.
You make a good point, I was just pining about past experiences, but some semantics about the “One Rule”:
Rule: You must post before you leave.
Other rules
Behavior rules:
- No bigotry (transphobia, racism, etc…)
- No genocide denial
- No support for authoritarian behaviour (incl. Tankies)
- No namecalling
- Accounts from lemmygrad.ml, threads.net, or hexbear.net are held to higher standards
- Other things seen as cleary bad
Posting rules:
- No AI generated content (DALL-E etc…)
- No advertisements
- No gore / violence
- Mutual aid posts are not allowed
NSFW: NSFW content is permitted but it must be tagged and have content warnings. Anything that doesn’t adhere to this will be removed. Content warnings should be added like: [penis], [explicit description of sex]. Non-sexualized breasts of any gender are not considered inappropriate and therefore do not need to be blurred/tagged.
We used to have a real 196, with trans posts and liberal paramilitants.
Now people only come here from other communities to post their personal agendas.
Fun Fact, pictured above appears to be a goat on a mountain, which is NOT a Mountain Goat because Mountain Goats are not goats. Mountain Goats are Antellopes.
Honey, we all know they’re hitting the ceiling they predicted in their OpenAI paper on AI Scaling Laws in 2020 and corrected by Deepmind’s 2022 followup paper. It’s trash now and it will always be trash, attempting to give it that infinite power and compute time to reach 94% is just an exercise in futility.
That’s a fun thought but StackOverflow are early adopters for AI so they’re probably not much different at all.

“I wouldn’t support ML but I’m fine with supporting ML” you’re not slick.

My “opinions” that dictatorships, genocide, and war are bad? I think some battles are worth being a little more than passive aggressive about. This is like the Nazi Bar analogy, if you let one Nazi stay in a punk bar then it becomes a Nazi Bar.

Never have never will, enjoy supporting death and authoritarianism.

Then why are you in here defending the World admin response to this?

Don’t use Lemmy, especially not places like ML and World, and don’t use piefed.world either.
And btw, in light of your response, yes I can confidently say you’re a bad person.

I’m spreading the word far and wide to help ensure that neither the horrid ML devs get funding, nor their supporters on World.
World chose a side on this issue and they chose the wrong side, I hope to see many others migrate away from them soon.

And when given a chance to clarify that Serinus over at lemmy.world/c/support had this to say:
So they’ve provided you a solution to your problem, but you don’t want to use it to solve your problem, and you’re mad at them because you’re still using the thing you don’t want to use.
Got it.
Not apologizing for the banner and instead thanking the Tankies for their work.

The World admins defending the banner and thanking those devs is a Lemmy.world issue and a Piefed.world issue. We need zero tolerance for those ML fucks.

Supporting those specific developers is supporting their Tankie views, their transphobic views, and their pro-war views. They could have said “sorry yeah we didn’t mean to promote them” but instead they defended promoting them and basically thanked them.

See the body of the post, when asked about this Serinus said:
So they’ve provided you a solution to your problem, but you don’t want to use it to solve your problem, and you’re mad at them because you’re still using the thing you don’t want to use.
Got it.
That’s not an “oops, sorry, out of our control” instead that’s a glowing review. Do you share the same opinion as them?

The other day the World Admins admitted to supporting the Lemmy Devs, so I spread the word then deleted my account on their instance.
Whether he milks the elves or vice versa depends on whether you sort by the hetero tag.
