I’m so hyped for that DLC. I’m hoping it makes VS even more expensive and fun. It’s a match made in heaven.

That’s my favorite Castlevania game!! Good luck with your runs! I’m so hyped for the Vampire Survivors Castlevania DLC.
I’ve also been playing with my buds WEBFISHING which is basically an Animal Crossing esc chill fishing game with lots of neat stuff to do. It’s really fun to play just to hang out with your friends and chat.
If you want something more intense as well, STRAFTAT just released yesterday and it’s fun as hell. It’s basically a Free to Play (Not P2W) 1v1 arena shooter that’s really hectic. It’s got a really strange aesthetic that I really like and it’s quite fun for a free little game. And if you end up liking it, you can throw the devs a bone and buy a $5 DLC that adds more maps, weapons, and cosmetics. They even made it so only the host has to buy the DLC and anyone who connects gets to play on those maps with those weapons for free. Really neat little game and really fun with a buddy.
Just got into Metaphor ReFantazio! Just reached the first major dungeon and so far I am very impressed. Quite a lot of great QOL stuff over the Persona series, and it has a very well written story with a very unique vibe so far.
I personally think I still prefer the vibe of Persona over Metaphor, but this is seriously a really cool game. I highly recommend you try out the Prologue demo even if you’ve never played Persona before or don’t care for JRPGs, because this is something truly different and I think there’s still a chance you might like it. The demo is super meaty too since it’s literally just the first four hours or so of the game.
Rural American here. We drive 30 mins to the nearest bigish city to do all of our grocery shopping every weekend.
Is there any reason you recommend two specifically over three? I know there is a third Orcs Must Die game but I have no idea if the community considers it “good” or not.
Good recommendation! I’ve played a decent bit of Zomboid, but never with any mods. I definitely should check some out!
I own DOS 2 from back when it came out, does DOS 1 still hold up? Would it be better if we just played 2 either way?
Just saw a post about this on TikTok and every one in the comments where cracking jokes and basically saying it was good she died. Couldn’t believe it. Whether or not you agree with how she ran YouTube, there’s no reason to be so cruel to a parent who died just after having to bury their own child. Glad Lemmy is being more thoughtful and respectful about this horrible situation.
Wow they blocked wine? That sucks wow. I bet that means Steam Deck compatibility is a no go now too huh. That really is too bad.
Haven’t personally used it but I heard there is a native Roblox client for Linux called Grapejuice. Might be worth looking into to solve one problem. I have no idea if it’s good or not but here’s a link: https://brinkervii.gitlab.io/grapejuice/

Good night.
Woah that seems really neat!! Thanks for telling me. Damn it’s moments like these I wish Lemmy had awards. So helpful. 🏅
Hey I decided to download Obsidian and give it another shot. Have you tried migrating any databases to the database plugin? How comparable is it to using them in Notion?
Thanks for letting me know, the few times I had tried Obsidian in the past I was unaware of plugins. Sounds like some of them might be adding the functionality I’m looking for! I’ll definitely check it out again soon!
I know people are going to come for me for this one, but definitely Notion. I know I don’t own my data and what not, really would love to switch to Obsidian at some point, but I have trouble with markdown and I really prefer “What you see is what you get” editors. I have Notion databases for keeping track of physical video games I own, I write all of my notes for D&D campaigns in there, I have a reminders and to-do page. It’s slow, it’s not very privacy focused, but it’s a dead simple and very feature packed tool to organize virtually anything.
Around 2017 I spent three days on and off trying to diagnose why my laptop running elementary OS had no wifi support. I reinstalled the wifi drivers and everything countless times. It worked for many days initially then just didn’t one day when I got on the laptop. Turns out I had accidentally flipped the wifi toggle switch while it was in my bag. I forgot the laptop had one. Womp womp.
Had this phone, Google pushed an OS update that caused the bootloader to get corrupted on a factory reset. Tried to tell me I had to pay them to get the motherboard replaced even though their faulty ass update broke the phone. Three months out of warranty. Never buying a pixel again.
