Yes, this was both very helpful for my mind, i’m happy and calm most of the time, and others appreciate it too and are happy to be around me.

It didn’t stop me from expressing anything. It just makes me pause to think of a better, kinder way to express myself, without making other people angry. It helps communicating with other people in a more friendly, helpful way. When i would be angry, it would be hard to listen to other people.

With our european housing market, that old lady or man might not even be able to move to a smaller size, even if they wanted to. Or, they might have a ton of kids and grand kids sleep overs, or kids that need to move back (happens a lot in our country) because they cannot find a place to live, so i generally try to be careful not to assume things when i don’t know details. It’s something that is basically the fault of our politicians, who could see this problem coming decades ago, but decided not to act. It’s not always the fault of people that are stuck in a house that became too big and can’t move because there just is no smaller appartment available, but the people who voted for politicians who let buildings be bought up by greedy investors. As for windows; i think one of the main reasons people switch has to do with how bad windows has become. It’s bloated, it feels like everything is spied on, and in 11 they add AI and not to be helpful to their customers. So, a lot of people will say: hey, i switched to linux and finally, i’m rid of that evil windows. Many people might not know that much about linux just yet, so they are maybe - i’m speculating here - moving away from something unpleasant, rather than switching to linux because of the many advantages.

Are you implying that noobs are not really welcome to ask their questions here?
