It takes her only 2-3 repetitions to learn a new word, it’s wild. She’s super clever but also the doofiest dog I’ve ever seen, it’s hilarious
I speak to my dog in complete sentences which was a mistake because now she knows every synonym for park, walk, treats, and any time we’re referring to her even if we just say ‘her,’ ‘it,’ or ‘the hound.’ She even learned that any time we spell a word it’s related to something she likes and she goes bonkers.
You know I hate to say I told you so
Obliviously they meant obvious
Your opinion is bad and you should feel bad.
Thank you, that would have been bugging me all day
I know who Chappell Roan and Sabrina Carpenter are but I’m not familiar with the original photo. I feel like I should be, though
Sleep is awesome. Getting shit done, now that’s the thing that’s overrated
You just described precisely the reason this needs to happen
Nah, fuck all that. I’ve stopped following most mainstream news and my mental health has improved significantly for it. Having a neverending sense of anxiety and impending doom 24/7 is no way to live, and it seems as if that’s exactly the effect that major news outlets are trying to have. It hasn’t fixed my anxiety but it’s a huge improvement not having it constantly exacerbated day after day.
If you had to take a break from that bullshit to avoid going completely insane, then good on you for taking care of your mental health, and believe me that is not a valid reason for you to be respected less.
I’m sure he found a shitload of stuff that challenged that viewpoint.
…and then proceeded to completely ignore it
Being intelligent and aware of everything and then having that intelligence slowly taken away from you, feeling your mental capacity diminishing day by day while still having the awareness that it’s happening, it’s pretty heavy stuff. It really brings to mind my grandmother’s decline after she got Alzheimer’s, she was slowly losing herself and for a long time she knew it was happening and it was painful to watch, not to mention how brutal it must have been to experience it.
Flowers for Algernon is an amazing story, but it hits pretty hard after watching it in real life.
That story was amazing but so crushingly depressing, highly recommend
Well well if it isn’t Hubert Cumberdale, back from the Great War
You may not like it, but this is what peak performance looks like
May I offer you a nice pillow in these trying times?
I don’t know which would be worse - the fact that you had this on deck ready to go for just such an occasion as this, or that you went out of your way to custom-make this. Either way, absolute power move
