The sheer amount of street level crimes, bar fights, car break-ins that existed in those days would blow your mind. Things have changed so much and yet everyone seems to have forgotten. I can’t speek for the ‘worst’ neighbourhoods in the US nowadays but back in the 70s - 80s whole sections of US cities were shitholes. Media make’s everything look way worse than reality.

Don’t know the advantage to fooling everything else but they are convincing. Worked in a warehouse that had a bunch of the red ones one summer. Everybody thought there was an ant problem but they seemed off to me. Firstly, they were never in groups, you’d only find lone ones wandering. Secondly, they walked like ants but held their “antennae” strangely. Lastly, when knocking one off a box I discovered they have a tether thread.
I’ve seen three Sobey’s do this for many years. I assumed they didn’t have to right to use the parking lot like some other stores do, since the lots are never full. Totally on them for not managing their stock and making it our problem.
Just like when your on a cellphone call things that produce mostly noise are filtered.

I’m still convinced most boomers are still contaminated. They still own a lot of stuff filled with lead or were too stubborn to give it up. I’m purposefully breaking my parent’s corningwear when I visit because they are too fucking stubborn to stop using it.
You can almost tell the difference between someone with high lifetime lead exposure and someone without. It’s sad and frustrating.

My sister had a portrait of her dog done at a similar site. I looked into it and noticed it was not a registered business in any country. Had no fixed address or employees listed. She did however receive a decent print but the thing was for sure 100% ai upscaled dropship stuff. Take a risk with your credit card if you really want to, but the real handmade stuff is going to be so obvious that you wouldn’t have thought to ask.
