We did a family introduction in a local aquarium and it was amazing. I had a something strange happen to me afterwards. I stopped breathing from time to time. Weird, because rule number one is “keep breathing”.
It started at work where I got the feeling I was suffocating only to realise I was holding my breath unconsciously. I had a constant feeling of being out of breath and only felt good I if I was conscious about breathing. Took me a bit of therapy to get it sorted out. Therapist figured that the dive triggered something in me.

We have these groups of volunteers gathering trash along the roadside. The more they collect the more they can earn for their good cause or their organisation.
They’re being cheap cleanup for the companies that sell trash and by collecting trash they keep the stats down.
I’m on .ml . They don’t tend to like opinions.
Agreed. I prefer this place to be a spot where you can disagree. I learn a lot from disagreements.
I’m quite happy that you stick with your Chinese name. You should never give in to the pressure. I’m Belgian. My country has three languages and the French speaking friends always mess up the pronunciation.
When it matters, like when I’m certain I’ll meet them again, I correct the pronunciation. I became better at it and found words for reference. So when they pronounce the word correctly, they get my name too.
It’s not the ID. It’s the implementation. I do like the Belgian implementation… It’s been nearly 10 years now and it seems to be pretty secure and trustworthy.
The west, the east, the north, the south… Wherever you build your reactor it will overshoot its estimated budget and wil be overshadowed by renewables.
But yes, there are many variables and the answer always lies in differentiating.
Hydro energy to the rescue.
Of course. Renewable blows nuclear out of orbit when it comes to price. Nuclear plants take decades to build and are generally a lot more expensive than estimated.
You can, manually. Sounds worse than it is.
Not really. I was scammed for a few hundreds of euro’s last year. I knew the company, I knew the account but the bank was incapable of reacting because of ‘reasons’. They know where the money went but they can’t follow where it got transferred to. So they can only follow one transaction and after that it’s gone. (Except when you get a court order)
A regular transfer takes at least some hours/days. With digital currency the transfer is instant.
Apart from that, surveillance. There’s a (de)centralized register that shows how much money there is ti be found on any account at any given time.
And that, my friend, is why Flanders and The Netherlands will never unite ;-) That, and juderans.
I started doing it years ago in Belgium and I see more people do it these days. I don’t shout but wave at the mirror. Bus drivers watch the mirror to check when to close their doors. After a while they get to know you and they trend to be more welcoming when you enter the bus.
We came from far but we’re working on it. Flanders is steadily moving to that utopia.
