    This is true but does not follow from the preceding steps, specifically finding it to be equal to -1. You can obviously find it from i²=-1 but they didn’t show that. I think they tried to equivocate this expression with the answer for e which you can’t do, it doesn’t follow because e and i¹⁰ = ln(-1)¹⁰/pi¹⁰ are different expressions and without external proof, could have different values.



  • Basically the second one is standard practice, a phased rollout. The only reason you wouldn’t do one is if there’s some really bad exploit that is currently being exploited and you need to fix it now now now. So either somebody fucked up and deployed a regular fucked update as a critical patch, or a critical patch was shoddily made and ended up soft bricking everyone.

    But idk i don’t work in tech.

    TL;DR The leaning of the decision-maker is influenced by which choice they’re currently looking at, getting stronger with time, until a threshold is reached where the decision is made. A more eye-catching item is therefore more likely to be chosen because it gets more sight-time.

  • Am I weird for drinking neither? If you’re not used to drinking them, you have to add so much to them to make them taste good, and I just never got into it.

    Very occasionally I drink pop, so that and chocolate (a lot of chocolate) are where my caffeine consumption comes from, but the caffeine isn’t the point.
