I adopted a very aggressive senior shih tzu with cataracts about two years ago, life changing amount of love shes given and received!

I finally saved up enough money to perform cataract surgery (pending she passes tests to ensure she can handle being put under anesthesia) in the middle of november.

    wish us luck!

  • I was finishing up high school and getting ready to transition into college, where I struggled my first semester.

it did not help when a close family member got extremely sick and passed away. at that point, I just stopped caring about everything. my grades were so low, my school threatened to kick me out. luckily, I was able to make a deal with the dean, so they let me stay (extremely fortunate and happy they gave me mercy).

lots of lessons learned that year, but im happy I went through what I went through, made me a better man.

  • I hear you friendo, as someone who wfh more than I go into the office.

as long as I do what I am asked to do promptly and I take care of anything that comes up, I dont stress like i did when I started this position.

my previous job had me working in the office all days, where I had to make decisions in seconds… not fun. this one is the complete opposite, where I have a list of duties to complete before the end of the sprint. as long as I hit my mark and take care of anything that comes up, my team and boss are both happy.

its really hard in the beginning, but maybe talk to your boss about it? I was feeling the same way as you, and the conversation with my boss did wonders for how I view my work. good luck!
