Happy to help! I love uncommon words and love to see them used correctly
Vis a vis is used in an uncommon way here. It typically means “in relation to”, “compared with” or “regarding”
“The poodle needs more grooming vis a vis most other breeds of dog”
“The poodle needs more grooming compared to most other breeds of dog”
The use of erudite is slightly wrong. It’s an adjective meaning knowledgeable, but you used it like a noun.
“Steve is really erudite”
“Steve is really well-read”
He doesn’t have the original Pro Tools 0.8 sessions with the raw takes, plugin settings, etc.
That’s the level of potential preservation we’re missing out on here. Not just the final product, not just the stems, but the full original raw takes and the mixes that made those takes into the original final products.
GETTIN OLDER ALL THE TIME
Jellyfin doesn’t need any particular setup to work directly from LAN because it doesn’t ever try to use a central login provider the way Plex does.
The only reason OP is struggling with it is because they set it up so that they can only connect to it via Tailscale.
Yeah, no. The main point of the multi-player is to get help from allies. It’s only if you get that help that anyone can invade your game in Elden Ring
Gluetun works great for this. It’s a VPN docker container that you can route other containers’ network connections through. Super lightweight and fast
There’s a series of novels kinda based around that idea. Magic 2.0 is the name of the series. Basically various hackers from different time periods discover a file that controls the whole universe and learn how to edit it with code/macros and become wizards because of it
The Hyprland devs (or one of them, I don’t exactly know who) is toxic and known for it. Is that person this guy?
Yes, it’s this guy.
It’s like day-ta vs dah-tah/dah-tuh
MPC or MPV >> VLC
You can fix what you did wrong in Linux. People are just less used to troubleshooting Linux problems than Windows problems because they’ve used Windows more, by and large
Even earlier, Colossal Cave Adventure from 1975 is the earliest one I can think of.
Likewise Dungeon from the same year might be the earliest Empoisoned
EDIT: Nah, Pong predates Dungeon.
One of the first arcade games (1971) was Computer Space. Kinda feels halfway between the two, so that’s fun.
EDIT 2: Think I found the earliest Jumble’s Big Bumble: Hunt The Wumpus, first distributed in May of 1973
TaskGroup in Python is great
Right, I just mean if your connection speed is faster than your server can transcode, then the transcode speed will be the bottleneck
It’s limited to the transcode speed, but it’s important to keep in mind that e.g. if you transcode to a lower resolution especially it’ll usually transcode faster than realtime.
FYI Jellyflix also supports that
Well, Electron uses Chrome, so yes
Luigi in Mario Kart, Link or Marth or Mewtwo, depending on which Smash game.
