Retired at age 40, am now 60. Wish i had done it at 35.

Age, diet (to a lesser extent), repetition (habit) and proper sleep to recover. If perhaps you have sleep aponea you won’t recover properly and will feel tired, hell, you’ll probably feel tired before you start.
A age, at 60 I struggle to lift, or do long mountain bike rides (my two go to exercise activities) these days and not be a bit shattered after…but then I retired at age 40 so that’s sweet as well. As I sit on my sofa typoibg this feeling a bit shattered from deadlifts and squats today.

I have flailed around forever trying to find something that suits on Linux, mostly I use Internet Radio these days, (have a small Yamaha Amp and decent bookshelf soeakers and sub) and just use ther app seems to be 10000 specific channels, like best songs of 1973, or best of AC/DC or whatever. I use Radiodroid on Android as well
I used to just stuff a 1TB SD card full of MP3s and use that on my Android phone but alas those days have mostly past.

and edit tags
Well, that sucks :( i was going to try it but i seem to be forever fixing tags, ao that’s a must have feature

I saw an IEA (i think it was ) estimate that China reduced oil consumption by 1.6 million barrels a day already becase of their EV rollout (cars and buses).

For Australians (alas, big Teska supporters) and much of the world they are all made in China anyway.

It’s not great, it was a paid alternative to some adobe apps. I used it on Windows Canava owns it now and further enshitifcation will ensue.
I now use Inkscape, which is great.

About tree fiddy

As a user, It would be nice to be able to consolidate.

I think the most valuable thing we can do for the fediverse is to contibute by posting in communities we care about
I saw this same thought posted about 2 weeks ago and it made me realise I posted lfew replies and scrolled a lot. That person suggested if people see a post with zero responses they likely scroll past (myslef included) but even if the post has 2 or 3 responses, people will be more likely to perhaps engage
I now respond more, even if like this response, it’s just a +1 type response.
Probbly not at the mgtow Lemmy instance.
Is there a Lemmy equivalent thread ?

Im stuck (deliberately) about the year 2010 ish tech wise… People need automation to turn on a light switch, i long ago figured out how to open my curtains sans alexa as well.
Alas everything enshitifies.

Maybe people will even learn that the fragmentation isn’t a weakness of linux, but one of its strengths
Maybe but its also super off putting to people looking on from the outside and wju do we need 500 flavours of Debian based distros when interested developers perhaps would be better tasked working om a few projects to inwprove things

Mint, then LMDE for me but i did it sooner, rather then being forced to upgrade to W11 later. I was on W10 about 2.5 years ago now.
Many people just foat them down thw nearest creek or river, or drain that flows onto a creek or river. No helium needed ! Or hang them in a tree :)
