Tailscale is a virtual private network (VPN). It connects everything together that is connected to it as though they are all in the same place. You might be physically at your in-laws house but your device is communicating with a private network over your in-laws’ network.

And it only takes one person with a grudge to cause a problem. I have seen it. I have shared accounts but very carefully and if someone abuses it then they permanently lose access to my stuff even if they are family.

People see me in cargo pants, polo shirt, a smartphone in my shirt pocket, and sometimes tech stuff in my (cargo) pants pockets and they assume that I am good at computers. I have an IT background and have been on the Internet since March of 1993 so they are correct. I call it the tech support uniform. However, people could dress similarly to try to fool people.

People will find ways, maybe makeup and prosthetics or AI modifications, to try to fool this system. Maybe they will learn to fake emotions. This system is a tool, not a solution.

I had a SSD in an enclosure that would do this. When I found the little nub to keep it in place it stopped doing this.

There can be corrupted files. I run chkdsk from the command prompt to verify.

Try Robocopy. It’s built-in and allows using multiple threads.

Maybe they were the first to go because your company didn’t want them around no matter how skilled they might. It seems odd that all of them would be let go. That implies that your company decided to only hire incompetent people because of the color of their skin and refused to hire any minorities that were competent.

That might be the point of the system but in reality it is definitely used for like/dislike. Someone says that they like Windows and/or dislike Linux and they are guaranteed to get downvotes.

I created a folder using Simple Gallery but it couldn’t see it. I created a couple more with the same issue. Google Files saw them just fine. Simple Gallery does see them now. I’m guessing that the issue had something to do with the Android 16 upgrade though I didn’t update the app and there wasn’t a follow-up update to the upgrade.

I was a world owner. I got the lifetime 99 seats when it was $300. I never did anything with it, though. The owner, Idea Fabrik, had a lot of drama. The actual developer, TGS Tech, went their own way when IF collapsed. HeroEngine did have issues such as texture resolution. Apex Engine takes the experience and lessons from HeroEngine and adds more modern technology. Some AI will be present but limited. It’s under very heavy development.

I wouldn’t use it as a daily driver (and certainly not for a first or second game) but it certainly has lots of potential. Feel free to read the website and visit the Discord server.
