Did that happen when they rolled out HiFi for everyone? They actually lowered my HiFi family plan cost at that time, which was unexpected.

I’m a huge fan of Tidal. Musicians actually get paid more, probably because they’re not wasting money on exclusive podcasts.
Maybe start with empathy next time.
A number of people who I have known to have that mindset faced a lot of hardship growing up. They had so much working against them for so long that it’s hard for them to see instances when they have control or to understand when some things are actually their fault.
It looks real to me. Either that or someone put in an enormous amount of effort into creating 271 pages of FUD, only to leak it in a way that the media will suppress the content.
Oh yay, another AI Pin or glasses or assistant thing that won’t be worth buying. Yay.
Sounds like a see a doctor thing to me.
Gotta wonder if that would work. My impression is that they are kind of looping inside the model to improve quality but that the looping is internal to the model. Can’t wait for someone to make something similar for Ollama.
What do you think would happen if the best NBA team played the best WNBA team? I think the men would win.
What do you think would happen if professional basketball was mixed? I’d imagine the teams would be 90% men.
Also, if track and field records are any indication, men are strong and faster. Separate divisions are more fair.
No, men and women are not physically equal.
I don’t really mind the idea of Republicans. Their execution is the problem. If they really were focused on small government, national defense, low taxes, the second amendment and pro-life, I could understand it (though I am decidedly pro-choice). It’s the disingenuous nature of it all that gets me.
I also don’t really like the Democratic party. They tend to make big promises that never fully materialize.
I’d prefer they talk about problems, not the entire voting population. I’m even open to “the Democrats need to nominate a better candidate” or “MAGA is garbage” but not “Americans are X”.
I would never criticize the entire voting population or say something like “I don’t know why Americans allow X to happen”. My criticisms are specific and targeted towards certain groups of people who are working against our interests.
I don’t mind it but I draw a line at criticism of the entire electorate. Many of us know that things are broken and we’d fix it if we could.
Edit: clarity. The entire electorate
I find there to be a more honest discussion here. Also, I really like that it’s not run by some giant VC fueled company that is driven to make as much money as possible. It’s more like a public utility where the cost is distributed among multiple instance owners. However, I am concerned about their rise in costs over time and I hope there is a plan for revenue. I’d be willing to pay.
While I’m here, I hope you all still use reddit a bit and mention Lemmy on there occasionally. I think the community can still grow.
What did you do?
Maybe it’s supposed to be mildly infuriating for us?
I had an Amazfit BIP for a while that had a color e-paper display with a battery that lasted over 30 days. I think they have since gone OLED but one cool thing about it was, while they had their own app with a login, I could alternatively sync it directly with a third party app on Android that was called “Notify And Fitness”. I only mention it because within this particular app the info never left the device. Perhaps there is something similar today, but I have since just given in and gone Garmin.
Taking a probiotic supplement that has a lot of different types of bacteria can help some people.
Sometimes I miss the Spotify “Radio” playlists. Also, having the desktop sync with mobile so I could just switch players and keep the same playlist was also nice. It’s been over two years though and I don’t miss it enough to go back, Tidal is mostly a comparable experience.
