Back in the day, I’d prefer hosted links over torrents. Felt safer and was less hassle.

I love the bleeding edge and all that comes with it, but I’m not willing to give up on a lot of the apps I use and to be honest, I don’t wanna give up on Material 3 Expressive either.

I’m old, I like to own my music. I’ve never liked the idea of leasing music. I’m sure Spotify works wonderfully for some users, for me, Navidrome does everything I need of it.

I never jumped on board with it. But people use it and it’s news.

Things will improve after the major release with more fine grained controls. Being able to limit community interactions to members will drive up quality engagement and that should drive up retention rates.

Reading this makes me happy.

If they didn’t have safeguarding in place, I’d be more worried. As with all things Firefox, it can be overridden.
