One thing I noticed once I was in my first date/relationship that although you may have seen hard and fast “rules” or “stages” of dating in media, those really don’t exist in real life :) As long as both you and her are comfortable about what’s going on, and agree on what to call it, dating/relationships can be whatever you like! Found my now-husband on Hinge. I was on the app a while (a year and change) before we matched, but he told me that I was his first match on it. There were a lot of duds and a few first dates that led nowhere, but I didn’t have any interaction with people I felt where dangerous or anything like that. Hinge also didn’t feel like it had anything that felt overtly monetized compared to other dating apps (like bumble). This was back in 2020 so I have no idea what it’s like now.

The official Dull Men’s Club website encourages women to participate as well, so I don’t think it should be considered as a men-only community:

If 99.9999% of users are men, it’s effectively a place where men can express themselves without the fear that some women will flood the comments.
The point of the community is to share the dull things you’ve accomplished, not to go there and talk about stuff with the expectation that only men will respond. I was trying to tell that commenter that, despite the name, it’s not trying to be a man-only space, and people hopefully should not react to or expect the community to be as such. I just wanted to clarify since I think the comm is cool.
