I block a lot less after switching to piefed which has a feature where I can tag users with poop and barfing and other emojies as it reminds me to laugh at the user instead of engaging.

LLMs are a.parlor truck that makes text output look natural, but massively unreliable like a game of telephone. Good for a laugh or two, but absolutely not worth wrecking the hardware sector over and not needing to be jammed into everything and endlessly nagging users about it.
Worse than web searches from a decade ago, and used to further fill results with generated slop. Certainly not ready for prime time, and the core design means it never will be for all the uses they are pretending it would be helpful for.

If they landed and did stuff that was more complex than we can send robots to do it would have been pretty awesome!

Screenshot is from Firefox on a PC when right clicking on a link. Other browsers and devices might have other options, or might not have an option to copy the link without tracking. I was just pointing out there is a very direct label for doing the thing we are talking about.

The only time I notice is when it is pointed out that they are reusing an engine for a game sequel and the prior game was a bit clunky or had bugs. More of a concern about it carrying forward parts that I didn’t like than an inherent dislike of the engine itself. Really more of an issue about how the studio uses the engine.

I saw it in the very early 2000s in my 20s and it was also the first mecha anime I watched. Most of the references to other anime went over my head, and it was half boring and half exciting, and halfway through the last or maybe second to last episode we started smoking weed because it was so weird anyway we thought it would help. Definitely had a good laugh when we found out the minimalism was due to running out of money.
Definitely enjoyed it, and after watching additional anime it was even better on a rewatch. Rebirth and Death or whatever the extra things in were great as well. Asuka facing off against the white drones or whatever is one of my favorite action scenes of all time.
Haven’t watched the newer ones.
I find small pains, like papercuts to be extremely painful while a lot of more intense pain more tolerable. Like when I broke my arm I was cool and collected, but hot water from the faucet is extremely painful.
My worst pain ever was kidney stone. Woke up so confused because I felt completely numb and had the urge to vomit. Then I moved and the pain came rolling in as waves.
Went to the ER and they wanted me to pee for a test, but I couldn’t pee and the pain meds they were giving were worthless because of the whole pain med panic and had to convince them to give me a catheter so they could confirm what it was.
Found out both ends of the pain spectrum are horrible!

It would definitely need a rule about not trashtalking people for realizing basic concepts.

I got whooshed

That is logical.

A c/epiphany comm would be pretty neat too.
Firsr, they are rich old men because they are power-hungry and greedy.
There isn’t a second point.

Or the more direct

I’d highly, highly doubt HIPAA protected clinic notes would be use for training an LLM

Guess we just let for profit companies and authoritarian states suck up all the data on everyone whether it works or not then.
That is not true!
The services get more expensive and the quality goes down.
