For sure. I know some places have incentives to buy an e-bike for certain income levels.

Use your connectivity purposefully. E.g. how to train your cat to do X. Look it up, then spend some time doing that. Something come to mind that you’re wondering about? E.g. where does X come from, or why is Y happening? Do some research. Better than swallowing the fire hose of random stuff the algorithms are feeding you.

The only thing you’re missing out on is your own life. Don’t let the algorithms tell you what your life should be and what you should be thinking about. I promise you that if there’s something really important, you’ll hear about it and then you can do your own research on it.

Cycling is great. Not hard impact. Can really push yourself if you want to. Cardio and strength training. You get to be outside feeling the wind against your face. And you can cover a lot more distance than walking or running so you can make a trip out of it.

That’s crazy. I was thinking with such a relatively small community nobody would actually speak it, but I guess of all communities Lemmy would have somebody who does.

Get something that has attack, decay, sustain and release and a few different waveforms. Practice with that. Might be more for synth design, so maybe get a sequencer. Have fun!

I think you need to understand why you’re nervous, then solve for that. She’s just a person.

What in the world?? Get out of your head. You want to be intimate with her or not? You think she’s beautiful so you get nervous around because you don’t want a beautiful person to think poorly of you, or you don’t want to mess up chances of being intimate with them, or you are nervous about telling them you want to be intimate with them? Just tell them you get nervous around them and go from there. If it’s a work setting be very careful. If not, just say you think they’re beautiful and you get nervous. Then decide if that’s how you want to carry the relationship forward or make a move and see how they feel about you.
