Yeah I did. I had a pretty strong flu, but felt the same as other years flu. I was in bed for maybe 4 days feeling awful. Then it was over.

But one thing ive noticed after covid is that colds seems to take a lot longer for the body to fight. Its like they are taking place in slow motion. I can have a week of feeling like im getting a cold before I actually get one now. Do you have that?

I can’t say I’ve noticed. I’ve had a bad cold and one particularly bad throat infection (left it for a week then it was diagnosed as strep throat and fixed with antibiotics, but had lingering symptoms for a long time) that took months to resolve since, but run-of-the-mill colds seem the same to me.

I had a peritonsillar abscess and it took a long time to heal up even after the antibiotics. The doctor was proposing that I have my tonsils removed but I decided to wait and see. Supposedly this is a rare complication that can develop after a bad sore throat. I’m really careful about sore throats now.

Yeah first time i hear about it, but appearently 1 in 10000 people get it… Good thing it didnt grow so big it was causing more issues.

Ive been lucky so far with my health, but I will probably run into weird things too at some point.
