It’s classic trauma-dumping behavior. People see a post that is barely related to some part of their lives (meaningless to every one else), and they blurt it out hoping it gets a bunch of le updoots (attention).

        1. You seem to not know what trauma-dumping is

        2. The topic and comments reminded me of a funny life experience which seemed relevant (brave dildoing of a definitely-not-a-dildo tool which typically has a wooden handle). Lemmy doesn’t even have karma and this is an anonymous account. It was shared with a comedic tone in an attempt to amuse readers with a funny topical anecdote; which it seems to have done.

        3. I guess I’m not the only one who’s butthurt :P (that’s actually just played up for the punchline; the physical sensation wasn’t significant memorable at all, but the oddity of the situation was)

Since you’re ratioed and it’s not even close, it might not have been so meaningless. Why, do you think, do people give so much attention when it’s barely related and meaningless?
