I’m selling my used Ender 3 v2, and I’ve upgraded the hotend, extruder, screen, and bed. It comes with 25 extra nozzles, the old glass bed, and whatever else goes with it (e.g. I can’t remember). Is $200 CAD a reasonable price, with delivery?

I just sold an Anycubic Kobra for $100. And it wasn’t fun. You aren’t getting $200 for it, I would honestly put it up for $100, be firm and just get rid of it if you actually want to be rid of it.

Or you can play the game for six months, and maybe get $120 for it. Is that $80 worth six months of dealing with some of the most awful people on the planet? I had a guy trolling me, like he kept messaging me from different profiles that he had created, writing just the most random shit. Super bizarre.

I bought a used V3 with 3 rolls of filament for $60 USD. Creality sells refirbs on their eBay page. I would go with half of whatever that is.

I just bought an used Ender v3 S1 pro with a sonic pad and a laser engraver for the equivalent of 215 CAD

I have kept my V2 for now and plan to attach the engraver on it but at some point I am thinking of donating it to a school or local group / club.

I can’t even sell a resin printer for the equivalent of 100 CAD

Really? There are a bunch of these on Kijiji here for what I’m asking. I’d buy a resin printer for $100 CAD if I had a garage, but I see your point for sure.

Do you already have a resin printer? I guess it depends what your plan for it would be, but honestly they’re a pain in ass most of the time, the resin is Satan’s own fluid and you need to set the time aside for a post print wash/cure cycle. Have you considered converting the ender to something else?

It’s basically worthless now unless you keep it long enough for it to be a collectible. I’m not trying to be a jerk. I had a Ender 3V2 completely upgraded with direct drive, auto leveling, dual z drives, octopi to run it all. But once I got my Bambu Labs I could not justify keeping it. I just accept the money I put in to it was just part of the hobby.

Can you check your local FB marketplace and Craigslist for similar printers? That’ll probably give you the best idea of what they’d go for locally. That said $200CAD doesn’t seem terrible, but with everyone buying CoreXY machines these days, that drives the price of the old bed slingers down even further.

I don’t know what any of that means, but yeah, the K1 is a billion times better.

Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist are places that people sell their used items. I think “Kajiji” is one in Canada maybe?

I’m in the same place as you with my Ender 3+parts. I’ve found it’s not worth trying to list as anyone in the market would just consider a better one.

Have you thought about donating it to a school or library? It would get a new life and you could deduct it on your taxes.

I agree, check local listings for pricing but I would guess that it wont get anywhere near $200 as the list price is $279 for the newest version of this printer.

I would expect to pay 1/2 price or lower for a used entry level bed slinger

Local listings are between $150 for stock, and $200 with upgrades. I think I’ll just donate it and save myself the hassle.
