minus-squarehereiamagain@sh.itjust.workslinkfedilinkarrow-up9·9 小时前SSDs are being affected too. Not as much, and I forget why exactly, maybe because it’s all silicon and shares some manufacturing resources? 🤷♂️
minus-squareCreat@discuss.tchncs.delinkfedilinkarrow-up12·20 小时前I got the 64gb intentionally to just put in a 512gb myself. Was no problem to do, and saved quite a bit on the price difference. I’m extremely happy with the device, but don’t use it nearly enough.

minus-squarehereiamagain@sh.itjust.workslinkfedilinkarrow-up1·9 小时前Same. SO is on 512gb, plenty big for them, depends on what you need I guess. I wanted to never think about it again
minus-squareouRKaoS@lemmy.todaylinkfedilinkarrow-up2·16 小时前Same. I caught a black Friday deal years back & got a 2Tb for less than $150

These are SSD, not RAM.

Samsung is halting consumer SSD production.
Just for SATA I think
That’ll do something alright
