    Because Judaism only covers the religion, while semitism covers so much more. It would not be antisemitic to say that my chances for dementia are significantly elevated, even though that is a common trait with people of my Jewish lineage. And, in fact, I’ve watched most of my family die from neurodegenerative diseases.

    What is antisemitic is when people tell me that I don’t have a very Jewish-looking nose. No amount of reading the Torah will give your family dementia or enlarge your nose.

    The chances that I’m circumcised are higher, and that’s because of my religion. Guessing that wouldn’t be antisemitic, but asking if my parents cut my pp off could possibly be seen as such.
