In November my doc put me on Jardience to help control my diabetes, and it was working very well. I was able to cut my insulin usage in half scale-wise, but also my urge to snack was way down further reducing my need for insulin. On December 23rd I had a complete reversal… of my digestive tract. I was throwing up and couldn’t even hold down water. This persisted for about 5 days, until I was able to tolerate half a slice of peanut butter toast and a few sips of coffee. My gf’s sister had had a similarly bad reaction to Ozempic earlier this year and her boyfriend recently ended up in the hospital with a ruptured ulcer in his stomach (also on Ozempic).

I had similar reactions to GLP-1s (for diabetes). If the symptoms don’t go away within a few weeks, you may want to talk to your endocrinologist about the issue. Sometimes, just increasing or lowering the dose can help. For me, Ozempic was the worst. I am now on Mounjaro, and no longer have any problems. Everyone is different, though.
