    Just based on his books I’d be really surprised if he was MAGA. He’s got a lot of fun sci-fi ideas, but he also spends a lot of time championing virtues like ingenuity, empathy, and honesty.

    That and the asteroid on asteroid action. That is a person who likely isn’t puritanical about sex.

      But he’s a human-first alien-second xenophobe, according to his scifi series about alien races trying to take down Earth.

      (I’m kidding, I’m kidding, but I honestly saw him as a Stephen King type, and glad to know he’s not)

      I was also thinking that if Scalzi can write the Interdependency series that contains gender neutral titles (Emperox) and several of the characters is gay/bi, he can’t be maga.
