    If you mean encouraged as in “You should know that you have this option, and there is nothing wrong with taking it”, then yes. But no one should ever be telling a terminally ill person that they should kill themselves because of it.

      Yes. That is what I meant. Bad choice of words on my part. However, in cases of severe dementia euthanasia is much more humane than letting someone live in agony without the ability to express themselves. This obviously wouldn’t be the same as someone with terminal cancer, etc. Dementia is a true motherfucker.
