I’m trying boss, but there’s stuff I need to manually get sorted out before the big switch and I don’t have a lot of time & energy to spare. I’m getting close though

What helped me was dualbooting, and using a distro with KDE Plasma (I was using Arch, but CatchyOS will work / be the same thing). It was like using the old internet again, but new and strange at the same time. Like being in a dream of fun, and windows was the cold reality of the office cubicle farm.
Nothing made me switch more than the magic of controlling how your desktop looks to how you want it, and more!
