pewdiepie is one of the modern celebraties that it kinda annoys me that I recognize the name. I feel like if I had not been a nerd and somehow I knew who captain kirk was even though I did not like sci fi. if I was not a nerd. I certainly like sci fi and know who captain kirk is.
Same I recognized his name but had never watched one of his videos, tried this one because of its content and could only get through about 2 minutes, maybe it got better but holy cow was that annoying.

I think most people in the native English speaking world recognize Kirk regardless of their opinion on sci-fi.
