343 IndustriesHalo StudiosMicrosoft always manages to ruin everything Halo-related, so I don’t have my hopes up.I dont think its Microsoft, honestly. The Bungie games weren’t screwed up, and Microsoft controlled every aspect of those games starting with Halo 2. The problems literally only started once 343 was formed. I truly believe the problems lie almost entirely in 343. Either management, staff, or both. Probably both.
Can we fucking stop with the God damn remakes? Especially ones that sell at full price.
No one buys original intellectual properties anymore, so studios take the least risky path and remake shit because people are too scared to try new shit. This is your fault, dear reader.
I have doubts that it’s because no one buys them but rather that they do not make enough money from new IP as consistently when all they churn out is safe choice shovelware.
Confrims exactly what I expected. They aren’t even done with CE and are already moving to the other 2.
In other words: “We aren’t listening to feedback and we don’t care.”
In other other words: “We are still 343 and we haven’t changed at all. We are exactly the same and going to keep making the exact same mistakes. Its not that we can’t learn. We don’t learn, because we refuse to listen.”
I gave up on 343 more than a decade ago. Halo died the moment Bungie stepped away from it
Halo 4 wasn’t that bad. I like it more than 2. Story was worse, but I wouldn’t call it terrible, and at least it wasn’t grueling to play through on legendary.
It wasn’t that bad if you like fighting the same silver enemies using the same three silver guns within the same silver environments
I’ll give you the environments being bland, but I really didn’t have a problem with enemies or weapons. Especially compared to what little was in Halo 2.
The promethean enemies were not very fun to fight really. Halo 5 made them more fun to fight but the campaign was too short and repetitive.
