Epic Games recently did an AMA (Ask me anything) in the community Discord server, confirming that a Linux / SteamOS version of the Epic Games Store is coming.
This is exactly why I don’t think this will actually happen because it would require Sweeney to suck up his Valve hate and use something Valve created and considering how he’ll straight up do anything to oppose Valve that’s a lot of sucking up to do.
