    Sheesh get a grip.

Look if you contributed to Linux you are already an active fascist supporter because fascists use your technology, so do baby rapists and all the worse people in the world.

No it doesn’t work like that? But it does apparently. If you have ever contributed to privacy preserving projects you are actively enabling paedophiles this is no exaggeration this is how responsibility works, apparently.

This person knew all this they knew the kind of people that use their technology but they draw the line at another technology that could be used to catch a predator.

Feel free to have a counter argument… K

You put that incredibly abrasively, and the analogy is questionable (as we are talking dev tooling here).

…But your point is technically correct.

Contributors who you will NOT like contribute to useful projects. And your contributions will get used for things you don’t like. That is, indeed, how open software works, and what makes it inclusive.

Yea it is called a false equivalence you can dispel it with reason. But no one has tried because they are trying to circlejerk and I am abrasive.

Lemmy getting a grip. Ha, that’s a good one. This place is a fascinating case study for severe mental illness.
