Night shift is almost always easier. Especially as a security guard in a quiet town where nothing ever happens and your post is just a crumbling building that you really just have to keep teenagers away from that might try to hang out in it, because they won’t think about the danger of the building collapsing on them.
As somebody that worked nights as a caregiver, it is not easier at all, what are you smoking? During the day, the clients were largely sane, but once the sun goes down, you better hold on to your hat.
