    Has there been any successful ‘major anti-imperialist intervention’ since WWII?

    Korea and the First Gulf War.

    Generally, though, imperialist invasions post-WW2 are more rare than they were. Both the US and the Soviets preferred to use local (and often unreliable) ideological allies over direct intervention in most cases during the Cold War.
