Why spend £6999 on a BBQ when £1 on a trolley from Tesco works fine?
When that happens often enough, the supermarket installs something that locks the wheels when the trolleys go out of range.
You can still get the trolley away by other means, sure, but I imagine it’s a pain to have to do that when there are wheels right there.
I only need 1 BBQ, if the wheels don’t work I can always remove the grill with some bolt cutters.

You laugh at the shopping cart, but it works, and its better than raw uncooked meat.
Probably also a lot less likely to go overbudget if you just aim for that from the start.
… And I say this both as a programmer and as someone who has cooked a steak on a shopping cart.
